Hey Gorgeous! Oh my goodness, my heart was pounding just reading that! I also really want to go sky diving but as I was reading your description of hanging your feet out over the wheel and trying not to look down or think about what might happen I had this overwhelming fear that I'd never be able to do it. Eesh. Must conquer the fear! Go you!!! Woo hoo!! xxxx
Thanks for the memories Thanks for a wonderful time in Asia. Really appreciate it. And I didn't even have to get my feet wet. Shame!
So looking forward to my virtual adventures in New Zealand and S. America.
Cat, I am so happy you made it to Sipadan!! An amazing blog you got here...and well I am sure you r not close to forget your time in Asia!! Looking forward to read your adventures in South America!
What a riot I stumbled onto your blog by accident (due to the photo of bottle beach in Thailand, where I spent two great weeks back in '96), and upon exploring, found your gem of a blog entry about the ROK. I'm originally from Korea (although now I consider myself American more than anything). I've been back there since moving to the US, but I don't think I can see the country through the same light as a true foreigner - and your vision is pretty hilarious.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in Thailand and onwards, and good luck finding Korean joints to satisfy your Bibimbap cravings outside of Korea.
Cheers,
- Kevin
Great read, great pics Yet again we enjoyed reading your exploits and seeing your fabulous photos. Your blog is always guaranteed to bring a smile to ones face. Can't wait for the next entry.
Hi Cat, Thanks for your comment on my Borneo Sipadan blog and well...glad you did as it allowed me to discover your blog too! Love the one on the Laos and really looks like you are doing quite a trip around Asia! Cant wait to read you next entry! hahaha :-) Enjoy your trip!
Another super diary. I knew I could rely on you for another great story, laden with photos of adorable children! Being as I am in a country where unnecessary stress is a national sport, Loas just sounds like heaven.

Best photo in the entire world There can be no better photograph in the world than your 'Fishing by the Moonlight.' It's stunning.
It's a perfect magazine front cover, perfect poster, perfect postcard and perfect photo. Better get it copywrighted - your gonna be rich and famous!

photos Thank you! I hope it's a combination of both, I got a DSLR when I was in Korea (cheap, cheap) and have been practicising ever since. Paul is very patient:)
Photos Hey Cat, good to get a long overdue but suitable long update. When did you get so good at taking pictures? Do you have a super-flash camera or are you just good?
Hey pretty lady! Glad you made it through tout-dom. Sounds and looks a beautiful place (apart from the plastic bag opportunists). Thank you for going there for us!
Great Blog Great advice for China - I wish I read your blog before I tried to buy train tickets the first time! It is a tricky place to navigate, but a lot of fun ;)
