Matt showed up on Tuesday and he brought winter time with him. It is really cold, it is sixty something with the wind blowing up to 30 knots all day and night. We spent the night at Gauna Cay. I walked to Nippers Sunday night and it looked MTV Spring Break, 200 plus people packed in this tiny beach bar over looking the beautiful beach. i didn't get a chance to take pictures because i was so overtaken by the sights. we will return to the sunday pig picking at Nippers and pictures will soon follow. We made it back to the Bahamas the day after Christmas. When we left Wilmington it was rainy and about 40 degrees, after an hour and a half flight we were in sunny 78 degree weather. We spent the day packing the boat with all the sluppies we brought and then relaxing at the pool with a swim up bar... i couldn't help but think this is going to be a great winter. I have a new job and it is taking me to the Bahamas for the winter. It is going to be tough running a boat in the bahamas all winter but someone has to do it. The first order of business i getting the boat to the islands. On tuesday we left Carolina Beach before sun up and headed out to sea.
