Well, I know it ia a day after the event, but wewere partying way hard yesterday. The day started wet, with warm-ups being soaked and couple of crashes occuring. 11 o clock races started with the Moto3 race. As expected from thse young guys it is adrenalin fueled racing, paying little attention to racelines and breaking points. Our boy Brad Binder nr 34, came in 20th, with a much better race than the Saturday qualifying. Moto2 delivered exciting racing,with Marc Marques won, putting th efirst Spaniard on the podium. Onto the main race, whar can I say. From the get go,Dani and Jorge took the lead and left everyone in their wake. Today we started off, no breakfast, as last nights check in to the Penzione in Trebon was a bit chaotic. Travel the back road, ignoring the GPS whenever she demanded we head for the highway. Yes, this did mean slower trafic, single lanes and little villages every 10 km on a 150 km trip. We still got the car to the airport on time and saw some awesome sights along the way. Started the day with a good breakfast in Plzen. On to the brewary tour. Initially thought to bea waiste of time, but well worth the time and money. Die ondergrondse kelder was die hoogtepunt. Gevolg deur n tasting vanunfiltered bier. Baie lekker gewees. Daarna val ons in die pad na Ceske Budejovice waar die motorfiets museum is. Baie nice,interessante motorfietse van so vroeg as die 1920's met nicecolle tion van 2de wereld oorlog harleys met hulle gattling guns op. Die stad is duidelik baie armer as die groter stede enmens kan dit sien andie onderhoud, sowel as die feit dat Engels non existend is in die omgewing. Verder met die pad af,is die dorpie Trebon. Finally we landed after a long and very hot flight. Late dinner and one really selfish Turkish passenger. 4 hour wait, spending the time in the lounge having chocolate cake and other sweats for breakfast. Nearly rejuvinated for the flight to Prague, hopefully the Czech's are friendlier people.... read more
