City Mission A-team
Hey Everyone, I realized that is has been a while since I last updated my pictures. So here are the pics from my Team in Port Moresbey. I had the chance to go on an A-team. Which basically is an onshore team for the duration of the port. My past A-team was in Cambodia over a year ago. Anyways We went to the port moresby City mission. The mission takes in street kids and people of low education. They train them on a farm to work as well as giving them some basic education. There are were 120 "boys " there who lived on the farm. So we lived among them for 18 days and basically just were there sharing and encouraging them. We did programs and creative misistry training. We also worked with them in ... read more
City of Alotau
Well greetings from Alotau. This port was only 6 days long and so I desided that i would take the opertunity to take a few break days during this port. So we had 3 break days and 3 of my good friends and I went to a local resort for the days. It was so nice because when i was arranging this accomedation and what not, I was writting back and forth between the resort and me. I first mentioned to the lady about the doulos and the work we do. She replyed back to me and told me that of course everyone has heard of the Doulos and she was on it back in 1988 or somthing. Church
Well hello all hows it going ? Well time flys when your having fun I guess. Our time in PNG has been really amazing. The people here are so awsome I love it. Well what can I say about Kavieng. So far this is the most beautiful place i have been. The Beaches are white with clear seas. I have had the chance to take a 1 hour boat ride to get to the church I was attending one morning and so we ended up at a small village on an island somwhere. It was great. Welcome to Rabaul
Well Welcome to the second port of out PNG time. It has been amazing time. Rabaul is so great. The area is so nice with nature and what not. There was an active volcano about 1 hour walk from the ship. There was also a nice mountain right in front of the ship. I did a bunch of early morning hikes in the past few weeks. Doulos
Wow. What can I say. After nine days of sailing from the Philippines we arrived at our first port in the counrty of PNG. It is amazing. We arrived in the port of Lae which is the second largest city in the country with about 120 thousand people. As time has gone on here in the port I found that so many people are very friendly. Infact they pay attention to the things we have to say. Also alot of people remember my name, because I went out on a lot of diffrent teams and though out the port I was having people say " hi Ben " it was nice. Christmas in the mall
Well Back in Manila after almost a year. I keep saying to people that we were here last year... well really it was only the begining of the year in Jan. We are in the same place as last time. It has been nice to conect with old pastors and friends we met from last time. It also have been a good time of new experiences as well. Go Conference
Hey well, I am on the other side of the world now, as some of you know I am in carlisle. This has been a time of some training and video work. I made a few diffrent videos and did alot of camera work at diffrent conferences. This time I have added a few extra pics because one of my very special friends asked that I publish more pics. so ya. Good food, Good people !
Well This is the last port in korea. Looking back it really was a nice time. I have enjoyed so much the chruches and the food and people. Good times. This is also the port in which my parents came to visit. We spent a week and a bit just touring around korea. We spend some time in seoul. This was also great !! I hope you like the pics! Welcome to Mokpo
Well greeting from Mokpo South Korea. It was a small change coming from Busan. Mokpo is quite a bit of a smaller town but still enjoyable. I did some mountain hiking on a day off which was really nice. I also have enjoyed meeting local pastors and other people from around the area. Also the mayor gave us ( the whole ships company ) free tickets to the Spa. Sorry though no picture of that because all spas in korea are no clothes required. Just the way God made you I guess !! Street Ministry
Well as I korea has been a wonderful place. I have really quite enjoyed the time here so far !! The people are so nice. I have enjoyed working with the people from diffrent chruches and other places. However people have always been saying that the ship will be so busy here but it really has not been so busy. But none the less, I have had a good time.
