Glad you made it!
I am so glad I got to see you again! What a long trip. I can't believe how sunny and pretty your yard looked! We had snow again here today, and I thought it was spring, silly me!!! We are already planning our seattle trip for this summer! I can't wait... Love, Steph

Looks like more fun on the road! I'm amazed that the weather is still iffy. I plan to leave in just 3 weeks and expect warm and spring flower weather! Yikers. Maybe I should add another 2 weeks to my departure. I have a possibly client conflict that could delay departure also. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. See you soon! Breta

Fun Trip!
Greetings Lynn! We went to Zion and Bryce a couple summers ago - was very hot - no snow - so many shades of orange. Errol spent time looking for the little snails that live in the algae on the rock walls in Zion. Great memories. Thanks again for posting!

Travels
As usual, your travels and your blogs are very entertaining. Some of the photos reminded me of the scenery in Death Valley I saw in January. It has been recommended to us to retire to Palm Springs. Were you there long enough to form an opinion of it? We leave in a week for East Germany.

It was great to see you two here in Sacramento. Thanks for taking the time to see the town and for going to the trendy dining spot with me and Liz. Too bad it was a little much. We'll see you in LaConner soon. Safe travels.

Rancho Mirage
We were in Rancho Mirage not long ago for a respite from a brutal Montana Winter. Interesting place. More so if you golf (which we don't). When will you make it to Helena?

Thanks Bill & Lynn
Hi - Thanks you two for stopping to see my Mom in Glendale. Sounds like wherever you stayed in Glendale was horrible; so sorry. Thanks again for including mom in your roadtrip. It meant a lot to her and to me.
23rd March 2010

So, is that the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento? I haven't been there is years, but it was a good one. I was born in Glendale! My grandmother lived there until her death in 1967, so I visited there often. Oh, that was more than 40 years ago. Yikes, time flies. You went through Pasadena without stopping at the Norton Simon Museum (art)? No, no, no!!! Well, it is your trip, but I wish I could have suggested that stop. Where are you going next? I'm envious and really ready for my road trip to Vermont in May. I'll be asking for suggestions of sights along the way! Best thoughts, Breta-the-back-seat-wannabe

TY for this.
Glad you did decide to send a blog Lynn. Those of us who don't get out much, can vicariously travel too. All is cold here, but sun does peek out. Enjoy your time, I'm jealous!

Hi
Your trip looked and sounded great. We hope to get over your way this summer. Our youngest may attend Skagit Valley College to play baseball next year. I love the area and we have friends in Mount Vernon, Burlington, Anacortes and of course LaConnor.

Thanks for the memories
I almost feel as if we'd been there with you, It all looked and sounded wonderful! Thanks for the photos and all the information about Cuesta. Glad you made it back home safely...your property, also waterside, looks gorgeous even if the weather isn't! We'll be in Europe nearly all of April and will include your address in our blog if Martin decides to do one (he usually does... I have little to no computer skills). As of now we are planning Madrid, Bilbao, San Sebastian, a train ride across France, East Germany, Prague, and Berlin. We'll see how much of this we can actually accomplish in a month. Hasta luego. Carol

Great pics!
I don't see no stinkin' rain. Were you just trying to make me feel better? Well, the sun is out today, so I acutally do feel a little better. Plus, the MONA docent winter party is tonight. I enjoy getting to know a few more docents each time we get together. I went to the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Sleeping Beauty, dress rehearsal on Wednesday and the Garden show Thursday, many drinks and "small plates" at happy hour events, a 2200 agent Windermere meeting at Banaroya Hall on Friday and had an uneventful week-end. My little life ticks along, and the daffodils are getting higher by the day. So, when will you be returning to the Hope Island Manse? Best thoughts, Breta
