After a gruelling journey which involved 18 hours on a bus and 6 hours on 2 ferrys, we finally arrived on Koh Tao. To say it was worth it is an understatement. The place is idyllic, with a lovely beach, chilled bars and cool people. However, there is a price to pay for all this loveliness and that would be our accommodation! A double bed with cold shower, and free mozzies to boot was our little abode for the few days we were there . . but what can you expect for a fiver a night? We went on a boat trip round the island, snorkelling in Shark Bay and Mango Bay.
