Sorry guys that I havnt written on here for a while, I really have been busy, infact busier than normal. I have gotten a life ow and am not at home much, in fact my host parents constintly find themselves telling me to stay home for a night to give me a break. So since my last blog I attended another Konfirmation. Thias time it was very different in the personal level. We got dressed up really nice again and I enjoyed the time with my host sister getting ready doing each others hair. So this time because it was a family member and not a family friend we went to the church and watch the Konfirmation part unfold. It was very different. When your Konfirmee is being Konfirmed with the class your family stands up ... read more

School camp to Paris for one week, I really can't complain. But who ever said that Paris was a 14 hour bus trip lied!!! Just add another 7 hours onto that and then you will find yourself in Paris :P. So our trip started with a short train ride to Vejle, then a life time spent on a bus. First stop was Hamburg Germany, then Bremen Germany, and then travelling further south to Holland where I don't know what town we stoped in, I was too busy trying to sleep. After Holland we stopped in Brussels, Belguim to then finally see the signs for Paris slowly coming closer and closer until we arived and got out and smiled at the realization we were finally in Paris, looking like crap and probably smelling rather gross but still ... read more

HOCKEY MATCH AND NIGHT CLUBBING EXPERIENCE !!!!! So the hockey was good fun and very interesting to watch. I had never seen the game except for in American films so I didn't know how I would feel at the end of the game. It was one of the best thing to witness in my opinion and it just sucks that our team lost because we are out of the finals now. The game was Herning vs Aalborg. Herning was winning 3 - 2 until the last minute of the game which then sent it into overtime where Aalborg scored the winning goal. Its such a violent game with players getting smashed into the walls and at one stage a player's Hockey Stick broke. I didn't know if I would enjoy the game but I went along ... read more

Wow So I have been here 2 months now and it has gone supper fast! A lot of things have happened since I last blogged. I partied a bit more, went to an actual birthday party with presents and games and not just music and alcohol, had the worst day of my life got a package from home, St Patrick's day, rode my bike to skole and probably a few more things. Ohh I also had a small simple conversation in Danish. Most exciting thing ever. Of course I partied hehe being an exchange student everyone wants you to be at their parties and its like your a novelty so people just automatically love you. I don't think I have had one weekend where I haven't had a party, which leaves my Sundays spent sleeping in ... read more

So I have been here one month to date, and I am loving it. I have done so many things and learned so much its just insane and makes me wonder what is to come in the future. The snow has all gone now, even though jjst the other night we had crazy snow storms and the snow kept everyone in doors and unable to drive. I think I am going to miss the snow, it was my first time seeing it here in Denmark and now its all gone. I also made some more friends with exchange students. I know more then just Caroline. I met Alex (Australia) and Benn (New Zealand) at Holstebro language school and then Chandler (America), Sean (Australia), Issy (Australia), Eline (Belgium), Kaylee (Alaska) and a few others and it's been ... read more

So the big first day is over and done with, infact the first week is down packed. I am attending Sct. Jørgens skole. I survived, just. It is so confusing with all my lessons being in Danish except for English and the language clases. So for some reason the school thought I was from NZ so I spent most of my first day explaining to people I was from Australia, and that I didn't ride a Kangaroo to school, I'm a normal kid catching the bus. I have been placed in the international class too, because some how I am smart and can teach others about Australia but also can cope with learning all the languages I have to with this class. I am studying Kemi, Engelsk, Matematik, Fransk, Dansk, og Tysk. Which is pretty much ... read more

So Just got back from Copenhagen and well it was AMAZING!!!!! Had the time of my life. Caro and i caught the train from our cities after school one Friday, I departed from Holestebro ( 4 and a half hours from københavn) and Caro from Vejle ( 2 hours away from københavn). We arrived in København to be greeted by Neils who then showed us our hotel! May I add it was lovely before we were then treated to dinner out. We went to a steak house which was lovely and a different dining experience. It was nice to be able to act like tourists but also be treated as them having our whole weekend payed for. With out realizing it we chose steaks coting around $60 aud dollars, hahaha would have done dad proud!!!! And ... read more

So finally no more flights to catch. Thank god because If Caro and I ave learned one thing about them, it's that they don't like us. Starting from Melbourne from me, one of the hardest things was saying goodbye to my family and the best friends. I cherished every last second I had with everyone making sure I was the last to go through the gates when boarding the flight. I thank Nan, Tammy, Mark, Ally, Mom, Yolanda, Puppa Bear, Taylah,Kristen and Hayley for being there. It was hard but I did it. I still look back at the photo's taken on this day and the last photo I took in Australia was of my best friend. Arriving into Sydney and little did I know things were going downhill from here. I get off the flight ... read more
