Van, Naja and I.
Van on the left, Naja in the middle and then I. So the big first day is over and done with, infact the first week is down packed. I am attending Sct. Jørgens skole. I survived, just. It is so confusing with all my lessons being in Danish except for English and the language clases. So for some reason the school thought I was from NZ so I spent most of my first day explaining to people I was from Australia, and that I didn't ride a Kangaroo to school, I'm a normal kid catching the bus. I have been placed in the international class too, because some how I am smart and can teach others about Australia but also can cope with learning all the languages I have to with this class. I am studying Kemi, Engelsk, Matematik, Fransk, Dansk, og Tysk. Which is pretty much Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Fench, Danish and German. It gets rather confusing at times but oh well. I also made friends which was good. But the kids at skole are rather crazy and the skole system here is very different. I mean the students here can just leave when ever they want and they can smoke but only in a designated area. People just leave class
Danish.
I am now learning a fair bit of danish. when ever and most of time the students are texting on their phones. My timetable si pretty relaxed to on what time I start and finish school. Most days I start at 8 but on Wednesday I start at 9. Also I don't have school on Thursdays and also fnish at 2 most days but friday I finish at 12. I really can't complain, it's pretty layed back!!!!
I am also excited for my skole camp, I have been told we are going to Paris for a week to do touristy things and I think that will be fun. All my lessons are in Danish apart from English so the other kids translate for me. I met Mai, Naja and Van and I would call them my closest friends. We all think it's funny when I am walking down the hall ways at skole and watching the guys look at me because simply I am a new girl in their eyes but also everyone looks at me wondering who I am and then wondering Why Denmark? The Danes really don't see why people come to Denmark, to them it's boring, but I don't think so.
I catch the
Van er smukke.
Van and I, in English. bus to skole and this means I am up at 6am ready to catch the bus at 7. I have to leave home at ten too in order to walk to the end of my street. At the moment it is stll snowing so Mathias and I walk to the bus wth a torch freezing in the -14 degree's cold. Transport here is ver expensive, it's costing me 200kr for a bus ticket which give me 10 rides. Thats pretty much 50 AUS dollars and its does me a week of skole because I have to click it in the morning and at night. It's kinda frustrating but oh well. I guess I need to go to skole.
I catch the bus from Borgjerg to Holstebro Station and then the cityline bus to skole. My school is in Holstbro so it's not too long on the city line but from Borbjerg it takes around half an hour maybe a little bit less.
Well that's enough for school, In a few weeks I shall have something posted about my paris trip.
Vi ses.

Nice that you blog about your stay here in DK.. Still don't understand why you chose DK? Haha And YEAH we think it's boring over here.. But AWESOME that you like it..... ;P Haha lol!! - We can't leave school whenever we want... Some people do, but then the teachers call their parents or something! It is called skipping class, so we are actually not allowed to do that! Haha ;P - Did you study German? I didn't know that? Thought you went out of class when we have german... But nice anyways... ;P - Xo Line ;P
