Awesome! You can "pass" the wine on to me, and the rest of what sounds like THE most incredible food!!! Love the reference to The Princess Bride :-o , and you look so at ease behind the wheel...
diving How cool is that?!!!!! Your diving experience has now paid off.
Careful...they may want to put you on full time. If you go out with them tomorrow....enjoy and have a great time!!!!! Sounds like you had a wonderful day today. Be Safe. We all miss you!
What great pics! Wow...David...the pictures look like postcards. It is so beautiful!
You are truly a native now....diving from the ship, steering the ship, swimming with turtles, raising the sails of the ship. About those turtles...do they bite...are they big. Dolphins are one of my favorites of the sea. That must of been great seeing them alongside the boat.
Fort and Coco the dog awwwwww.....coco is so cute. What a sweetie!!! So about the fort.....what's the story behind that. Looks extremely realistic. Wonder when the last time it was used. Be safe...continue to explore and have fun.....but again....be safe.
camera There are so few people here on the beaches that I don't worry about anyone messing with my things. I just cover the camera with my shirt or towel.
Questions Hey Da-vid,
I look forward to reading your blog each day. Thanks for being so faithful to write every day.
A question, por favor--
You talk about swimming all the time, yet you take pictures everywhere. Do you hide your camera under a rock or bush, or what?
Stay safe! Have fun! sent w/ a prayer and a hug, Cheryl
Day 10 Things are going well and you are getting to see so many neat things. The pic of St. Vincent across the channel is beautiful!
Keep up the great blogs. We can enjoy this island through you, David.
church Last sunday morning when I was on a walkabout to Sping and Industry bays, I could here singing from several of the churches. There are many believers here on Bequia. Last night they were holding a "crusade" downtown under the almond tree. The singing was very good and the preaching was very enthusiatic. Kind of like an old time tent revival. When was in Kingstown, St Vincent, there was a man on the street corner preaching with a bullhorn. Reminded me of the Rob Bell video we say at church a few months ago.
Keep those comments coming.
David

church Have you been to the island church for a service? Wonder how that would be. So you duplicate your greetings in Bequia...when they pray do you say "Dear Lord, Dear Lord" and "Amen Amen"? Just kidding. Seriously, I think a service would be great to attend. Do most of the people appear to be believers? Really enjoying your blogs, David.
Look forward to them every day. See ya Mon!
Moonhole Moonhole definitely sounds very interesting. You are adjusting to this lifestyle much too well David HA! It's a whole new world over there. It's great hearing about all of it.

The pictures!!!! the pictures are priceless! I think I may want to live there. Someone get me out of this heat and into the waters alongside Bequia! I'll even swim with the dog, but I need a scooter to get up and down the hills. That would be my first purchase.
ohhhh...the pics Loving the pictures. What a view!!!! I could use some peacefulness myself. Told my doctor about what you were doing. He wrote everything down about where you were. I think he wants to go do this. Stay safe. Have fun. And for goodness sake, bring back some of those cookies. :)

Every man comes to a point in his life where he craves an adventure. Some climb Everest, or make a cross country journey, or sail around the world. For me my "Island Adventure" begins July 29th when I travel to the island of Bequia for 24 days.
The first question out of everyone's mouth when they here about my adventure is: "Why Bequia and where is it?"
Bequia (pronounced Beck-way) is located in the far southern part of the Caribbean almost to Venezuela. It's part of the island state of St Vincent and the Grenadines which is an independent part of the British Commonwealth. The islan... full info
