Greetings from Beautiful Bequia
Today was pretty uneventful. Just another day in paradise. I don't know if I had mentioned it to everyone, but Tuesday evening I couldn't find my cell phone. The last time I remembered seeing it was at 4:00pm. Marcia had tried to call me Monday night, but couldn't get through and now she wouldn't be able to contact me Tuesday night so I was afraid she was going into panic mode.
Wednesday morning I was scheduled to leave at 8:00am on the Mustique trip, but I had them hold the boat for me while I checked with the grocery store where I last had my phone. No one had seen it there.
This morning I got up and jogged to the places I had been Tuesday afternoon, but there was no sign of my phone anywhere. Wednesday morning I tried calling my phone but it went straight to voice mail, so I figured it was gone for good.
When I emailed the carlot this morning I asked Todd to call the phone company and have it disconnected. Sure enough, as soon as I have it disconnected, Someone from the grocery store calls the
St Hiliary Point
This is the remains of the location where the "Friendship Rose" was built villa office and tells them they found my phone and saw that i had called that local number. I email Todd back to have the phone line reopened and its done.
The internet connection here at the villa office is having issues today, so it takes longer than usual to get everything loaded up.
In the afternoon I went on a two hour hike (took water with me this time) to the top of Hope Bay. I have one last unexplored road for tomorrow, then I will have to start re-visiting some of my favorites.
I had a hard time sleeping for the first time. It seemed hotter than usual and the fan just wasn't cutting it. Also the mosquitoes were worse than usual. They really like me feet and legs.
I feel as though boredom is just around the corner. I'm starting to take paradise for granted. It's getting harder and harder to find new things to take pictures of. I'm looking forward to getting home. I miss the family and work.
I'm sending some more pics from Mustique and some favorites from days past few days.
Only 6 days left to take
in as much sun, sand, and ocean as I can. It has to last me through the long, cold winter.

Paradise
If you could just have a hammock and a good book alongside the beach...i could probably live there forever.
