Next stop.......Amsterdam!! After the worlds shortest flight (especially compared to the first haul), we touched down in Amsterdam at Schipol airport. We once again loaded up the back packs and headed off in the direction of our hostel. We dumped our bags very quickly and went to witness the best of Amsterdam! There are some beautiful buildings to be seen and finally we found some COLD BEER! Heineken was the beer of choice and with two for one at happy hour, we couldn't resist. After a few cold ones, we headed out on the town. The canals that travel through Amsterdam are surprisingly clean. The main mode of transport in this fine city is push bike.....we were quickly introduced to this when Matt nearly got run over at the first intersection. Its amazing to see the ... read more

So after along trip (for the boys) and a not so long trip fo Amanda, we all arrived safely at Heathrowe airport. Let the journey begin!! I am to assume that if you are on the email list fo this blog, you know all the people contributing to this journey! Aaron (who, I guess, spear headed the trip), Amanda (the only girl!!! Could be seen as a crazy and game woman!!), Shane (that says it all...), Steve( our resident knower of useless yet interesting facts!), and of course Cousin Matt (apparently the shy one...........AS IF). We jumped on a train that was heading to Victoria (we hoped) and got a good laugh along the way at a few of the suburbs names. One that springs to mind immediately is the qaint little town of cockfoster. I ... read more

Some may say we stuffed up by taking the Royal Brunei airlines..... okok it did take 38 hours to get from home to the hostel in London, But we did get to see a very underrated country of Brunei... OK firstly the architecture was fantastic, brunei is a very surprising place hot as, no summer no winter just HOT and Dry or HOT and wet, FUEL don't choke but it was 53Brunei cents (AUD$0.40) per litre, unbelievable, like most countries that are tied in with oil. We arrived at Bandar Seri Begawan (Airport) expecting not to get into the country, but shane covertly slipped past immigration to score some visas (oh yeah!!!!) We took a taxi to Downtown and saw a huge mall where we ate some spicey food. We were constantly stared at and were ... read more

Day 3 We packed our things and jumped into the supershuttle (Very Very Hung over sounds of the night before a bleak distance memory). It appears that our driver has no idea of the road rules and nearly runs down several people, millimetres from people leaning of the cable cars and running all red lights, once we get outta the traffic we would be doing upwards of 80-85 miles an hour (130-135kms) these guys are crazy fuckers, we get to the airport and catch flight 1 of our two flight stretch from San Fran to Denver Colorado on schedule.. this however was all about to change... we arrive at Denver as planned for our transfer and hope on our flight to MSP, we make it as far as the runway then the plan grinds to a ... read more
