the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia's recent history - the Killing caves of Phnum Sampeau. A little Boy chatted to us as we approached a viewpoint on top of the mountain, pointing out the 'crocodile mountain' which was a former Kmer Rouge stronghold and after taking a few photos for us he proved he was easily informative enough to become our guide. He showed us around the caves which had a distinctly eerie feel about them. Big, deep wells of darkly stained unforgiving rock down which approximately 100,000 innocent people were bludgeoned and thrown to their deaths by the Khmer Rouge.
