Hello everyone! Hope you are well! I am in Nice, France on the French Riviera currently. Amazing beaches, weather and scenery along the south of France. Although I am very content here.....I am a traveling man and I leave tomorrow to fly to Stockholm, Sweden. I am going to travel in Sweden, then Denmark, then Netherlands, then Belgium before arriving in Paris.....then I am taking the "Chunnel" back to London before I fly back to the U.S.--whirlwind!! ¡Barcelona es fantastico! I am alive and well and enjoying Spain very much. Barcelona is beautiful city and very lively at night.......and in the morning. Morocco, Africa was amazing! I spent a few days in Tangier and Fes before heading to Mozuga (last bit of civilization....) and traveling 2 days via camelback in the Sahara Desert! The shooting stars alone were worth the 600km trek from Fes. After ferrying back from Morocco, I traveled to Malaga, Spain for the biggest party in spain, Feria! Absolute madness. Ola! I miss you all! I am in Seville, Spain currently, but am leaving tomorrow for ..........................................................................................................Morocco, Africa!!!!! I have officially lost it. I met Bruno, from Switzerland, at a bus station in Seville and he has convinced me to travel with him to Morocco tomorrow.......we are taking a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar in the afternoon and will be in Tangier by nightfall. Crazy. I am pretty (well, really) nervous about it, but I had been debating going and now I have a French speaking companion, so I hope we can be safe...... By the way, Seville is beautiful!! Ola! As I do not have much time to write and no pictures to post (have not been able to upload them in internet cafes), I merely wanted to tell you all that I love and miss you. I am in Lagos, Portugal (south Algarve region) and it is absolutely beautiful. I have only been here a short day, but I have enjoyed the people, culture and ocean so much that Lagos may rival San Diego as a new favorite city. As my study abroad experience nears the end, I have reflected upon some of the things I have seen, heard or experienced and have formed some opinions (go figure...) that I am offering to share with all of you. 1) The lack of footwear is disgusting. Unfortunately there are NO "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policies in AUS/NZ. Nasty ass feet walking around in grocery stores and restaurants makes me (a footaphobe (?)) very uncomfortable. 2) There is a KFC in every single town in New Zealand. Arthur's Pass Andy Newton Buenos! This blog/set of pictures is from the last day of the Mt. Cook/Fox Glacier camping trip. After leaving Fox Glacier, we traveled up the West Coast of the Southern Island between the west side of the Southern Alps and the Bass Strait. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, yet the roads were incredibly treacherous. Hairpin turns through one lane roads (but with two cars!) on the side of a mountain—I did most of the driving and was quite relieved to finish my shift!
