We eventually got around to organising a cooking course (so there will be a Vietnamese evening when we return!). Firstly our Chef, Snow, showed us around the market to teach us about the commonly used herbs and vegetables. We witnessed a funny argument between two market vendors, they later came back to appologise to us! We we taught to cook Hanoi fish, Vietnamese Spring Rolls ( I am craving them already), Royal Rice and a dodgy cold ginger and sweet potato pudding ( think we will leave that out of our vietnamese night). All of the other learners were like professional cooks and Mike and I were so slow in comparison but we got there in the end!!

We spent the afternoon, strolling around the old quarter and booked a private tour to Mai Chau!!!
