Well, I made it into Tam Ky for the volunteer placement late last night. There are a total of six of us volunteers here in Tam Ky. Four from Australia and another girl from Vancouver! What a small world. There are two of us to a room and I'm sharing with Karen who is from Perth. Orientation doesn't officially start until tomorrow. Today we are to "settle into" our accommodations. This morning we set off looking for the big market but didn't find the right one since the streets aren't really marked and we didn't have the smarts to grab the map before leaving! But that's okay. We managed to find our way back after coming across two other smaller markets. Lunch was a good mix of vegetables, meats, rice, soup and fruit. I think I
