This is Pang, a monk i met in Luang Prabang
Howdy ho peeps!!

Thailand

So after leaving Phuket i headed up to Chang Mai, i really liked it, its much nicer than Bangkok, people are really nice and the City is a lot cleaner and cheaper for going out aswell. Headed up into the hills to stay with some hill tribes and do the usual bamboo rafting and elephants, you stay in small bamboo huts in the middle of nowhere and sit around the campfire with about 12 other people having a few beers and having a good laugh, met some really nice people though, even met a girl from Deal (near Dover, kent you cant get away from it!), 3 days in the jungle though is definitley more than enough i must say i smelled great aftrerwards, also mark had enough by then as he's soooooooooooo unfit and he twisted his ankle, he's such a big girls blouse!

Laos

So anyway as the title suggests i'm in Luang Prabang, Laos, was'nt easy getting here though spent 6 hours on a bus to get to the border to spend one night there, then 1 day on a boat to Pak Beng in Laos and stayed there for
Nice!Nice!Nice!

An affective T-shirt for thailand everone should have one
one night in some quality digs, its prob the worst accommodation i have had so far but the people are really nice and you do feel for them as they obviously just dont have any money, spent another day on the boat to get to Luang Prabang which was 9 hours and was absolutley packed, but when we finally got here it was well worth it, its such a nice place allbeit a tad more expensive than anywhere else. Got chatting to a fair few people on the boat and been out for a few drinky poos with them, the only problem with Luang Prabang is everywhere shuts by 11pm, dancing is illeagal in some places so i'm a bit gutted i cant do my grinding dance moves in public buga!.

Vietnam

I've only been in Hanoi for a few days now but so far really loving Vietnam, in fact i'm a bit gutted i spent so long in Thailand as i dont have as much time as i would like here before having to head to OZ, in the lonely planet its says about hiring bikes in Hanoi, you must be f@#king joking, its bad enough trying

to cross the road let alone driving on it, only been here for a few days but really like it, people are really friendy and you dont get hassled that much and on the bonus side everything is well cheap i bought a t-shirt today for 50p, i was tempted to haggle but then that might be getting a bit too tight with the cash, i'm leaving here in a few days to head south to Vinh moc to see the VC tunnels and hopefully do some shooting of the old guns, apparently you can blow up a cow with a greanade launcher so will def look out for that one, keep your eyes peeled on 'youtube', anyway will keep you posted, till the next time
