Please excuse me if I repeat myself, have had many sleeps since Phi Phi, but just thought I would finish off our lil entry for this beautiful island.
The last few days of our time on Phi Phi were spent in the grand company of ole Cardiff boyo, Darren, our
Phangan buddies, Hayley and Dan and a few others we met along the way.
Hardened climbers that we are (ha!) we agreed that one thing we must do is go to the Viewpoint, thus, we donned our ramblers apparel and water bottle in hand, ascend we did! Phew! What an effort, but in an impressive 20 minutes, we reached the top. The view is breathtaking and its unbelievable when you look at before and after Tsunami photos of how much devastation was wreaked.
At the top there is a beautifully kept garden and we met with the gardener who was lounging in his hammock (and appeared to have had a few jazz cigarettes in my opinion!) who was extremely proud when we praised his beautiful flowers.

As an ending to our stay on Phi Phi, we agreed this really was the pinnacle!
