After a long bus ride we finally arrived at the port to catch the boat over to Koh Tao Island. It was the worst boat journey we have ever been on, the three of us were all violently sick for 3 hours and once we had arrived because we were so ill and disorientated we were taken advantage of by one of the taxi drivers and ripped off. After finally feeling better we went to have a look around the Island. Koh Tao is a very beautiful place and is excellent for scuba diving. One night we went to the Lotus bar on the beach where there was a fire show and we partied. We then left the next day for Koh Phagnan and yet again we all were sick by the time we arrived. Once we arrived we went to look around the Island and was quite disappointed, the beaches were totally ruined by the full moon parties but the sunset was beautiful. Because we did'nt really like the island we decided to leave the next day for Koh Samui. As soon as we got off the boat we all knew we would love this island it was chilled out
but had good night life aswell. The beach was beautiful and the sea was really clear and clean. Whilst in Koh Samui we went to the Black Moon Party where we met some Australian guys and danced the night away.
We finally left Koh Samui for Phuket where we was meeting up with Sam D's mum and dad. It took us a whole day to get there because as usual the connections were never as planned by the company. Once we had finally arrived we met up with Sam D's mum and dad which was brilliant and they came bearing loads of goodies for us including Galaxy chocolate yummy!!! We spent a week with them by the pool, eating loads of Subway and clubbing at night. We also did an excursion with them to James Bond Island, which also included a trip to a muslim fishing villiage, Monkey Temple and we were taken on a canoe trip around some caves. When we got to look around James Bond island we found out the film 'The man with the golden gun' was made here, the views were beautiful and there was a small shingle beach there too. We spent many
nights in our favourite irish bar 'Molly Malones' the live band were excellent and you was never hungry when you walked out. The interesting Bangla road came alive at night with clubs, bars, street entertainment and many ladyboys!! We also visited the many markets and walked along the beach. Phuket was a very overcrowded tourist area but having Sam D's mum and dad there made the trip worth while and we want to thank them for everything they did for us during that week. When they left it was really sad but we had to move on because we was going to Phi Phi Island and carrying on our adventures.
Well what can we say about Phi Phi Island, wow it was amazing and we loved it. The first day we decided to take a walk around the island only to bump in to our friends from new years in Bangkok. They told us to meet them in the hippies bar where Nick was taking part in the fire show that evening. The fire show was excellent and the youngest guy of 15 years was brilliant. After the show the music was pumping and we danced the night away
on the beach. Also that night we met some english guys from Surrey Kirk, James and Harriott they were a laugh and we ended up spending a few days with them. The next morning was an early one we was up at 6am to catch our longtail boat to Maya Bay where 'The Beach' was filmed. Along the way we visited Phi Leh Bay, Loh Samah Bay and Monkey beach. Maya Bay was very beautiful and because we had gone so early the beach was deserted and very peaceful. We were all so excited to think Leonardo Dicaprio had been there and all ran down the beach to be the first foot prints for the day on the sand. Our boat then took us to Monkey beach where yes there were suppose to be monkeys but with our luck there was none. Again the beach was deserted, the sand was fine and soft and the sea was so clear that you could see the fish swimming around. After our trip we went to meet Jake, Nick and Nick on the beach to chill out for the day. We played in the sea and Lucy buried Sam D in the sand.
That evening we met Kirk, James and Harriott in the irish bar and had a few drinks and played connect 4 with Lucy being the champion! We then all went onto Hippies bar to meet up with Jake, Nick and Nick for their last night on the Island. Sam J danced the night away on the beach whilst Sam D and Lucy were at the bar with the guys getting hammered!!.
The next day all the guys had moved on but we stayed on the island for one more day and decided to check out the view point for sunset. From the top you could see the whole island with the two beaches either side of the town it was beautiful. Phi Phi is definately a place to visit with something for everyone and the best thing of all there was no motorised vehicles. The next day we left for Krabi via boat. When we arrived we headed for Krabi town where we met up with Kirk, James and Harriott. Krabi town was very quiet and relaxed. That evening we went for dinner and then onto an Irish bar where we spent the rest of the evening. Because Krabi
town was so quiet we moved onto Ao Nang where we stayed in little huts and chilled on the beach during the day. We played football and volleyball in the sea and sunbathed to catch our last tans. Again the area was very peaceful and beautiful and the sunset along the beach was stunning. The day then came where the guys were leaving to go home and we were moving onto Malaysia. Overall Thailand is an amazing place with some beautiful scenery and excellent beaches. We would definately come back!!

Brill hol in Thailand
Hi Girls ...We had a great time in Thailand and meeting up with you girls made it an extra special holiday. We hope we were able to help you just a little bit. I think you all needed a much needed rest and lazing round our hotel pool, sunbathing, and swimming must have helped I don't knw about you, but we thought the James bond island was a brilliiant trip especially the canoeing, havin a guide paddle us around under the caves made it such a lovely relaxing day. I can't believe how many pictures I had taken, its got to be more then 600....I have had 300 printed the rest I will leave on a CD. I am going to make you all a DVD on the clips I took of our time together. I am very pleased with the footage I managed to get. Hope you will be too. Sooo glad you enjoyed Phi Phi Island. I must admit Maya Beach looks so much better when it is empty. If only we had, had, a little bit longer, we could have gone to Phi Phi and stayed in the island for a few days with you. I was a bit disappointed when I heard that they had beach parties everynight never mind.... I will have to go back again YES! Hope you all have a great time in India love u lots mum V xxxx
