what is happening to the weather? - From: Delhi
Hi Girls Could not believe it when I read that it was freezing when u arrived in Dehli... The weather is sooo strange, apparently though, they have been having freak weather. Its such a shame that it is happening while you are out there but at least you managed to keep some of your winter clothes. I am so glad that you enjoyed staying with your friend Samarth and his family. It is soo much better when you have someone to take you to places. They can explain things more clearly. There are some lovely places too. Please thank him and his family for looking after you and making your stay in Dehli a much more pleasant one. I am soo glad you are going back to see him before you go back to England. Not long now... Can't wait to see you. Will have your long awaited roast dinner ready. India looks a lovely place. I think I will put it to the top of my list of places to visit. Luv u loads Mum XXX

Wow! what can I say girls. Brill hol in Thailand - From: Thailand - Islands
Hi Girls ...We had a great time in Thailand and meeting up with you girls made it an extra special holiday. We hope we were able to help you just a little bit. I think you all needed a much needed rest and lazing round our hotel pool, sunbathing, and swimming must have helped I don't knw about you, but we thought the James bond island was a brilliiant trip especially the canoeing, havin a guide paddle us around under the caves made it such a lovely relaxing day. I can't believe how many pictures I had taken, its got to be more then 600....I have had 300 printed the rest I will leave on a CD. I am going to make you all a DVD on the clips I took of our time together. I am very pleased with the footage I managed to get. Hope you will be too. Sooo glad you enjoyed Phi Phi Island. I must admit Maya Beach looks so much better when it is empty. If only we had, had, a little bit longer, we could have gone to Phi Phi and stayed in the island for a few days with you. I was a bit disappointed when I heard that they had beach parties everynight never mind.... I will have to go back again YES! Hope you all have a great time in India love u lots mum V xxxx

I was not very happy to read that you went with some Chinese blokes.. I know nothing happened ....but you should be more careful especially in this day and age... anyway I have had my moan... You seemed to be having a good time even though you had trouble getting them to understand you. Glad they were friendly and sounds like you were treated as celebrities. Shame the Country suffers with polution. Can't be very nice having the Country covered in Smog. Not seeing the sun. I am not sure I would enjoy the food either chewey eyeballs and chicken claws with toes nails yuk! Its been an experence, something you won't ever forget. Look forward to your next saga.. Having the locals trying to rip you off but If I know you Sam I am sure you made sure they were not going to get away with it. Tuk Tuk - From: Cambodia
What away to travel.. on a tuk tuk. They look such fun. Its a shame you had to see the heart breaking horrors that happened to the country, but it is great the way they have coped and are now getting on with their lives. Must have been quite exciting seeing the temples especially the one where Tomb Raider had been filmed. I can see why the locals were laughing at your Laura Croft pose... only joking they probably didn't know who she was. Ha! Ha! Shame you were getting hassled by the beggars but they have to survive somehow. At least you were able to go shopping and its sounds like you did enjoy visiting Cambodia... Can't believe they managed to fit 5 on a bike and then seeing 2 people driving a car wow! they can get away with anything over there ... A Country without rules, sounds good to me. hope to speak to you soon luv Mum V xxx

whoose been taking the piss - From: Brisbane to Cairns
Sorry girls but I couldn't stop laughing when I read about the so called sleep walker weeing all over poor Lucy's clothes. That is just soo unbelievable. Then hearing about the bus windows being smashed and a nutty girl on it... Then reading about you coming across a Dingo while going to the toiet. How did u manage to keep calm by crossing your arms and staring it out? I think I would have been crossing my legs and probably scream.. ..Then reading more problems when the tide came in and you couldn't leave the campsite and when you did you got stuck in the sand. Also Sam losing her bikini bottoms...You certainly have made me laugh reading this. You will all be able to look back at this and giggle at all these events. On a good note I bet it was great having Lucy join you and being able to pat the cute little Koala bears. Just reminds me of my little Koala teddy bear. Can't wait for your next adventure :) Lots of luv Mum xxxxx

I am not so sure about going through dark caves in the freezing cold but it must have been lovely seeing all the bright lights from the glow worms. eerie but exciting....I can't imagine digging holes on a beach and getting hot water, I would think it is very good for the skin. Chillin out, having pizza and watchin movies just like home. Must say you are not missing much back here....Every one says hi and awaiting the next entry...love Mum V xx

Hi to you both - From: Salt Planes
Wow, despite having "problems" getting in and, it seems, getting out of your rooms, it sounds as though you are having an absolute ball! Really enjoy reading all about your experiences and seeing the super photos. Your days must be an absolute whirl. One minute you are in bikinis enjoying the sunshine and the next you're wrapped up snug and cosy trying to keep warm! Georgraphy was never one of my strong points but I am certainly learning heaps now! Take care and love to both. Marianx

lucky girls - From: End of the world!!
Hi girls 33 hours on a bus oh my goodness! I bet it was worth it though...I'm glad you are making friends and enjoying yourselves. I bet you couldn't believe your eyes when u went in the pub and see all them men. I can understand you wanting to get out quick though. I bet they were all staring....Proper Snow! How lucky can you get... we never get it over here and if we do its not very deep. Hope you made the most of it and had great snow ball fights with your new friends you made. Wheres the pic of the snowman? One question - was there a reason why the bar was called invisible bar.....strange name....was it hard to see?...Ha ha ..Hope your ankle is better now Sam. You need to rest cos you have lots more walking to do before this journey is over. Loving every moment of your holiday.. Can't wait to read the next episode love u lots. Mum Vanessa xxxxxx

Dad said at least you had fresh milk on your trip. Glad you was moved though. Otherwise poor Sam J and all your friends would have been ill too. Again absolutely amazing pictures!

Hi Sam d, I too have been really enjoying reading your blogs and admiring the lovely pictures. I've been printing them out and taking them to Nannie Val and Grandad Arthur each time as well. They have also enjoyed reading them. It all sounds amazing, especially all the wildlife you are seeing. I don't envy the long bus journeys though, that must be hard going at times. Belated birthday wishes to you Sam. I hope you had a lovely day. You both seem to be doing really well, keep it up and take care. Love from your Aunt Sandra xx

Great Reading Girls!!!! - From: Iguazu Falls
Hi Sam and Sam I have been sooo amazed at reading what you both have been up to. I couldn't imagine myself in your position, but oh how I would love to join you right now. I have given your details to everyone they are all following your great journey. Your blog is brilliant. How you find the time in between all them long 18 hour bus journeys I will never know. but at least you are both getting to rest on them.....Maybe sore bums....We went to sarahs football do on Sunday, she played brilliantly and also scored a goal. When you get back I will have to take you to watch her. Everyone says hi. (A special big hello from your Dad, Paul, Emma and Brad) They all love what you are doing. Always asking how you both are. We have a bank holiday Monday off next week yippee! If only I could have a year off like you..... Never mind thats life ....You seem to be coping well with all the different places, people and food. You have some great footage. I love the pics of the waterfalls. wow! what an experience being able to go under them. Can you imagine me with all them butterflies flying aroung me. I think you would hear me scream all the way back to England. I know your next stop is at the end of the world ....spooky....Can't wait to hear your comments. Don't forget to take plenty of photos. Its been great being able to contact you on a regular basis. I really enjoyed talking to you on the internet. We must try with the camera link next time. We can all have a laugh at what we look like or me (jealous) because you are both tanned and I am still white. I better end now. You know what I am like when I get started. I will write non stop for England....Don't worry about anything just enjoy yourselves. Remember keep together at all times and keep in touch on a regular basis. Love you lots mum Vanessa xxxx

Wow - From: Welcome to Rio!
Hi Sam(s) I love this site, being able to 'share' your trip - how cool is that? So what happened to the last few weeks before you left? I thought I'd be round to give you a going away pressie but you're already there! Sounds like you are already having an 'experience of a lifetime'. Really wish I'd done something like that - maybe in my next life or when I retire. You can give me some tips. Love the photos - you have some really, really good ones there - thought you'd copied them from a travel magazine! Can I make a little suggestion though? Don't forget that you have a flash and you should have a setting that let's you choose when you can use it - even in the daylight. If someone is against a very bright background then the chances are they will look very dark/in shadow when you take the pic. Just turn on the flash and that should sort it. Hope you don't mind me making the suggestion but you've got some lovely photos and they will give you both such great memories in the future it'd be a shame to spoil some for the sake of turning on the flash button. Looking forward to hearing your next news. Can't tell you how envious I am of you both. Have loads and loads of fun girls. Mal xx
