We had the confined pool all to ourselves this morning, which was amazing as every other new diver was using it in the afternoon, clever Anna. Initially, breathing underwater was absolutely terrifying and my initial reaction was to totally give up but I didn’t re-surface and it only got better. We did all sorts of skills and it was a challenge but satisfying to get the hang of. After five hours we took a welcomed break. We had more theory in the afternoon and marking out homework before going swimming in the sea. The water is so clear, warm and quite shallow so you can just sit or swim, it is incredible; I cannot get over how beautiful it is here.

Night, Katie
