Hi all,

So we made it to Ko Lanta after a sweaty boat ride from Ko Phi Phi, Molly a little on deaths door but smiling still with the optimisum comments from Dan every 5 minutes. We arrived on Ko Lanta, which is very different from Ko Phi Phi, a lot less touristy and quieter. We made our way to 'Long Beach' which is self explanitory, really lovely beach which looks out into the big blue ocean and resorts and hunts lining the beach.

We got a lovely hotel for 400 Baht (7 pounds) a night, well a hut really made out of bamboo. We have a mozzy net and a cold shower, but clean sheets a resident gheco and someting on the roof which is constantly rearranging its furniture at about midnight. But its really sweet and we feel like typical backpackers!! We have both been really poorly, our toilet saw more action than it should have! yesterday morning d woke up feeling dodgy, seconds later a distubing amount of vomit was covering his hands, legs and bed sheets. later on that evening d decided to take extra precautions and slipped on a nappy...we have photo evidence.

We have front row seats of the dog fights, theres one that is contstantly being chased by the other dogs, however, towards us, they're really friendly. One dog looks like the town bike with nipples down the ground and a well dodgy looking back door- but the blokes seem to like her.

We have booked a train leaving tomorrow from Trang- its 14 hours long!! and we both have top bunks, we have booked a flight as well to take us from Bangkok to Chaing Mai, so we'll be in Northern Thailand from Wednesday..
We're looking forward to night markets, jungle trekking and elephant rides, we'll fill you all in as soon as get going.

Speak soon. Love Dan and Mol xxxxx
