Day 8 - 28 JUNE
We got into Pai last night. Run and Orn were our wonderful hosts at Bueng Pai Farm, a little slice of heaven. We had fishing from our front porch. The serenity and tranquility was a welcome relief. The food they made was soo fresh with homemade yogurt and lots of fresh fruit grown on the farm. Paula and the kids made a special four legged friend there called Panda. We hired a couple of motor scooters and terrorized the neighbourhood doing 40 kms tops. The roads were uncrowded so it was fun just cruising. We scootered past a little restaurant called Na’s Kitchen which had mouth watering aromas emanating from its woks. So we frequented here a few times.

In the morning we rented two rods from Run and Brent and I caught a couple of catfish and a fish that looked something like a barramundi. We had a cruise around town on the bikes and dinner and a few beers at Na’s, then went home to our bamboo hut, it’s always a race to see who hits the hammock first!
