Chiang Mai

Standing @ the urinals in the toilets of the disco-tec (club in Chang Mai) & someone starts massaging my shoulders & calf's! So naturally I'm a bit freaked, i turn & it is 2 little Thai toilet attendants "it ok, It ok!" Cool then keep it up! I finish up and they wash & dry my hands then do some chiropractic gear on me, cracking my neck & back a few times, top stuff all set to hit the dance floor again! (& try to avoid all the Thai prostitutes advances!)

Me n Laura got into Chang Mai after a 16 hr, 3rd class, long arsed train trip with no sleep! (the only non Thais) We had a few hours sleep then went on a tour of town saw a heap of temples or Wats, went to the huge day market then later that nite we checked out the night bizzar (a km long st lined with stalls full of every souvenir, fake watches, clothes & bags possible)
Then we booked the 3 day trek & left the next day.
We got back to C.M & we (all the trekkers) all met up & went to see some reggae bands then to the disco tec, top nite!
The next day (rough as) me n the German gals went out to Wot u Mong ( a temple full of tunnels and a huge monument) we chatted with some friendly monks, very interesting. That nite we began the monumental journey down sth!
