Welcome friends and family. This blog will have to be short as the flipping computer has just blocked as finished writing the last blog. We have arrived in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.

We took the cheap option and got a night train from Bangkok main station. I have to say it wasn't the comfiest of journeys. We calculated that we must have had roughly 15 minutes of sleep, between us. We shared the carrriage with globe trotters and a family that were making there way to Chiang Mai to sell goods at the night market. 13 hours of travelling just to sell cheap clothing.

Today we have been cooking thai cuisine, all day long. We were picked up at 9.30 and were taken straight to the market to learn about all the diffrerent vegetables used in thai cooking. I can't even say let alone write half of them. Becca has remebered it all and can't wait to do some thai cooking for you all.

We cooked noodles, made thai green curry from scratch, prawn soup and mango and sticky rice. It has been an amazing day. Such lovely people have been met and e mails exchanged with one lady from Hong Kong.
Tomorrow we fly to Koh Somui. One of the many beautiful islands. We can't wait to have a few days of reading and sunning.

Sorry for the short mail but will be in touch real soon.
