Chain Mai New Year

Hello everyone,
Sorry it has taken so long to post. We have been on the go and have not been able to get to the internet cafe. Today is New Years Eve or "Count Down" as they call it here in Thailand. We are so glad to be done flying on planes. I only have a few minutes to post because we are leaving for the elephant park. Take a look at the pics. We visited a very sacred 600 year old Buddhist temple on the top of a mountain called Doi Sutthep. Here a Monk did a blessing for us and our trip. Then we visited a craft market and umbrella factory where artists will hand paint pictures on just about anything. You see and example on the back of Cassie's t-shirt. Well, sorry for the short post but we haved to run.... The elephants are calling us.

We will not have access to internet or telephones for the next 8 days. So we will post again as soon as possible when we get back to Chiangmai.
