Bangkok travellers central!

Day 2

Couldn't control the cheapness so we done a little shopping - Hollie got a dress and a long sleeve top and I got 2 tops. We ate fruit and Pad thai from the carts on the street. Visited The National Museum which was massive. Dinner and drinks on Khao San Road follwed by a bucket of cockail! Had a giggle, moved on to watched a live rock band then trotting home via the crepe stall. Dieting in Thailand not going well.

Day 3

Walked to The Grand Palace but didn't go in as apparently closed, later found out tuk tuk drivers just say this as they want to drive you about to different places However we couldn't find an entrance either. Never mind....At 6 o'clock we meet the group. 12 of us Hannah, Becca & Laura (uni friends), Couple Jo & Matt, Esther from the Netherlands and 4 aussie girls Lolita, Maxine, Karim and Nadine. We eat out with our tour leader Sar from Bangkok. Stay out drinking and getting to know the group but retire at a reasonable hour as off to Kanchanaburi tomorrow morning.
