Hey everyone, we had a few really awesome weekends and I am bored on my work break so I thought I'd write a little blog and put some pictures up. Lisa and I both agree that St. Patrick's Day is always one of the best days of the year. ( I wonder why? ) and this year was definately no exception. My friends from the soccer team told us about this party that is put on by an Irish Pub in Seoul. It is regarded as the best Paddy's party in Seoul. It was an all you could eat and drink event. We paid $60 and you could eat as much and drink as much as you wanted between 6pm and midnight. Lisa and I went with a few friends and ended up meeting a lot of people we had met before and a few new people. It was a really fun time!!! At midnight we headed to another area of Seoul called Itaewon to the Canadian bar ( I know not very Irish) and then to a bar called Polly's Kettle. Needless to say when we got home the sun was rising and we had many good memories from

the evening. On a another note my soccer game the next day was not such a good time. You could definately tell that most of my team had been out until the wee hours of the night before. We lost 3-2 and ended our undefeated streak.

The next weekend we went to Korea vs Uraguay soccer match at the World Cup Stadium. There was about 17 of us who went. The game itself wasn't great as Korea played poorly but the atmosphere and the company we were with was awesome. It was cool hearing the Koreans doing their chants and screaming everytime Korea touched the ball. And as you could imagine the post game party included some beer, McDonalds, and shopping carts ( well maybe the shopping cart part isn't usual ). All in all we've had a few good laughs the past few weekends. We hope everyone else had a good St.Patrick's Day and that things are going well for everyone.
Cheers,
Ryan and Lisa
