Friday we were due to dock back at Singapore. So a lot of the time was spent with the formalities, settling the bill, getting back passports etc. Having packed there was some time for some sunbathing and a last lunch and wine on the ship. The food on the ship has been excellent and we are reluctant to leave the cruise behind.
We docked at around 14:00 and meet our driver who is waiting for us; he whisks us to the Park Hotel at Clarkes Quay to check in once again.
We had a dinner appointment with two old Singaporean business colleagues. We went to a seafood restaurant. My Singaporean friend ordered and we ended up with masses of food, the centre piece of which was the Chili Crab. The evening was excellent Diane and I ate so much that we could not face breakfast the following morning
