our friend in law school was running for an elective post in siquijor. he invited us to give him support during the election with free board, lodging and transportation. we went to dumaguete thru air philippines and after an hour flight, we arrived in dumaguete. the place is so peaceful. we went around the city and visited a local mall where we looked for a souvenir t-shirt. we then went to silliman university and the architecture inside the campus is great.

after lunch, we went to siquijor where our friend waited for us. he showed us around the small town of siquijor, siquijor before we proceeded to their place in lazi. Lazi is a small coastal town which is very rural. we visited the church and the local museum run by nuns. the next day, we went barrio hopping but we were not really able to view the tourist destination like the waterfalls etc, because of the constant reminders from the old folks that it was election time and we must not go around unescorted.

well, just the same. we had some fun. 😊

after siquijor, we planned a trip to cebu. it would have been great if

we include bohol in our itinerary, but due to lack of time, we settled for cebu instead.
