Et ouais, ici ils ont tellement de chevaux, que finalement c'est comme pour les vaches, on leur donne pas de nom, ils les designent juste par leur couleur. Et si il y a 2 chevaux blancs, et ben, tant pis... Bien sur, il y a quand meme quelques exceptions, et les chevaux plus reguliers ou plus performants sont mieux consideres! J'ai pu en faire l'experience lors de mon court sejour dans le parc national de Terelj, a 80km au nord-est d'Oulan Bator. Je me disais qu'il fallait quand meme que je fasse un peu de cheval en Mongoliem et n'ayant plus beaucoup de temps, c'etait l'endroit ideal, et j'ai pas ete decu! After a few days bouncing round Mongolia in a suspension-free minibus our legs are itching for some exercise so we take another minibus (in fact, the same one, but only for an hour and with sworn promises that the road is pothole-free) to Terlj national park for some roaming in the hills. It looks a tiny bit more touristy by Mongolian standards than other places we have visited - if you can count one bloke with an overdressed camel on the roadside and a couple of ger holiday camps as touristy - but the mountains look fab and we can't wait to get going. Having been to Terelj last year, we did not plan to come here again, but to catch an overnight train from UB to Beijing. We didn't realise that the train departing from UB today was the Siberia line, and pre-booking was impossible. After much trying by Puujee, he still couldn't get the tickets for us. So we were left with the only choice, i.e. to take a flight to Beijing. And since we were to take a plane, we can afford one more day in Mongolia, and the natural choice was of course to head to Terelj. Terelj is the best place to relax after 2 weeks of travelling the rugged terrain of the country. It is not very far from Ulaan Bataar, about an hour's drive.
