Little India
Just to let you all know we got here safely despite a short delay at Heathrow due to security. Excellent flight with a row of four seats to ourselves, so slept well with James as a pillow and three seats to lie out on.

First impressions of KL are good. The Number Eight Guest House where we are staying is nice enough, clean and contemporary. This city doesn’t seem to sleep, our room is on the front and a little noisy, however probably would have slept through if it wasn’t for the jetlag which had us awake at 3am.

We ate out locally last night on Jln Alor, a road of street vendors, just around the corner.

Spent day one exploring China Town and Little India. Had a lovely lunch at Old China Cafe, my coconut rice was blue which was interesting! Lonely Planet is coming in useful although we did get slightly confused on the walking tour they recommend (could be James’ map reading).
