Penang

Penang is an island on the north west coast of malaysia, this was our last stop in malaysia before heading into thailand. We stayed in george town, the main city on the island, most people come and rent motos to see the island but we just stayed in the city.

The night life here wasn’t great to be honest but the food was amazing, especially a 24 hour curry house with dirt cheap roti for 25p. Hatiq, a guy working in our hostel, took us out two nights claiming he knew the good spots and could get us in places for free but in the end we ditched him, a bit mean but he was a buzz kill/tool.
