Yet another tiny plane with propellers
As the title suggests today has been a day of travelling. We left Luang Prabang this morning and got a flight to Bangkok. Bizarrely we left about 30 minutes early, lets hope everyone who waned to be on that flight was. For all the bad press that Air Lao gets they were actually ok. The plane did not drop put of the sky, they left on time and we always got our luggage back super quick, although there were only 20 on our flight.

We then had to hang about at Bangkok airport while we were waiting to board our flight to Penang in Malaysia. Boarding was an experience to say he least. We seemed to be sharing the plane with people so desperate to get on that they did not mind who they pushed out of the way! Hesitate for a second and 5 people would jump in front of you. It was complete chaos! However when it came to the pushing even I had a height advantage!

We are now at the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion in Penang which is a Chinese Mansion that has now been converted into a hotel. It is a very cool building (in looks not in temperature!) Just been out for dinner and was horrified to find that it cost as 20 quid for the two of us. Malaysia is expensive!

Malaysia is expensive! NOT
That works out to 125rm. You ate at the wrong place. Two people can eat out for 30rm easily. Or did you have alcohol? That IS expensive:).

Yes, we had alcohol. Clearly that is where we went wrong!
