Mt Yotei
view from the rafting start point. NOASC offer a hike and ride on the volcano - 5hr hike and 50mins riding. we are going to do it when the snow gets deeper

Mt Yotei
Mt Yotei - after a couple of days work we got our first full day riding. The snow was good high up but only about 40% of the mountain is open at the moment until the offical opening on the 15th.

Kutchan Station
when we arrived on the 5th. when we gasp at the amount of snow the guys laugh at us - apparently there is much more to come.

Orientation
we've been out with the senior instructors here riding a fair bit - showing us the mountain. here we've stopped for a quick coffee and rest

Snow Shovelling
8-9am every day

White Water Rafting
had to go rafting so we knew about the other activities NOASC offered - can't say i'll be heavily endorsing this one - so cold!

Lounge Wear
we got these bargin tracksuits from Don Quioto in Tokyo, they are based on some sort of cartoon in Japan called Gapachin and Mutta [or something!]

The NOASC Van

We are set up in the river base now after squatting for over a week in the girls place, good to have our own place at last. We've also hooked up a second job with another ski school which should keep us pretty busy.

God lord there's a lot of snow, you best be formulating some sort of epic lost lab 2 in which to hone your comedy patchwork patterns jibbing.

Snow
Yeh its keeping us busy on the old snow shovelling front. We want to set up a few jibs outside the warehouse but we are waiting till they get the bulldozer fixed so we can do some serious shaping! Knowing NOASC's efficiency on problem solving they'll probably have it fixed in July.
