William and daddy's kite flying high!!We have had a lovely and very busy half term full of fun and on the go for most of the week so I thought we would have a nice gentle trip to the local park and fly a kite. Lots of Chinese people like to fly kites at this park and it looks so much fun so we thought we would give it a try!!
I forgot how hard work it is with Matthew.....as soon as we get the kite up for him to fly, walk away to take a photo the kite comes crashing down!! Mummy goes one way, Matthew the opposite.......looking around seeing all the other people just gliding around with their big kites! but after a long time and a LOT of patience, we got there!! We saw so many great colourful kites. There was this elderly couple with this massive octopus kite, it was amazing!! I think we need to practise a lot more before we head to that size!!!
I took hold of Andy's kite while he helped Matthew and the wind took my kite and I was heading towards the tall trees.....that wasn't the problem it was the birds that

Kites for sell. I have never seen so many kites!! flew towards me and tried to attack my nice kite!!
But we all had fun and all went home in one piece!! kids included!
