First day in Shanghai I arrived around 2pm and decided to take a walk around the financial area of the city there are a lot of very tall buildings including the largest building in mainland china. I saw the Shanghai stock exchange and I also went up the Pearl TV tower which is Shanghai version of the CN Tower there are some great views from the top and before this tower was built there was nothing in this area except afew small buildings.

Daring
Did the tower have a glass floor? Did you dance on it? Are you wearing your mask? x

Very modern
Fantastic photos. I'm still catching up with the terracotta warriors and the Great Wall, so it's a bit of shock to see all this extreme modernity!

Impressive!
I especially loved the moody sunset pic. But it's a bit like, "all that glitters is not gold". I wish you had a smog-mask. But hey, money, money, money! xxx

Yes there was a small section of glass floor but strangly there was just a photo of what the ground looks like under the tower...maybe they regreted not visiting the CN Tower for ideas until after they built there tower?
