I'm losing it. My bad for not writing blogs more. I'm actually just out of things to write about.. seriously. That's the truth. I really don't feel like I have much to say right now, but I'm going to keep writing and hope that it comes to me. It usually does. I have never, in my life, seen so many dogs and cats running around loose. They come in the restaurants and eat food off the floor... they (the cats especially) hang around the trash cans and eat whatever is in there (I really don't want to think about what they are actually eating)... the dogs look sweet.. the cats look evil. Man, I'm slacking these days... and I haven't even started teaching! Thaaaat's tomorrow. I ate noodles last night and today for lunch. I've decided that there is absolutely no way to be cute when you eat them. It's just dig in and eat. You kind of have to let go of all your ideas about manners... even when you're not eating noodles. It's perfectly acceptable for someone to spit something out of their mouth onto the table. It's a little bit gross, but you have to accept it and move on. That's just how it is. When I got back to my apartment after lunch I looked down at my shirt and realized I had noodle sauce all over me. It was quite embarrassing.. This blog is a little later than usual, but I woke up this morning pretty tired, and then I immediately began my day. I took a nap after we got back.. which may not have been a good idea, but I felt like I needed it. Anyway, hopefully I'm refreshed and can make this a good one. Yesterday at the English department meeting the dean of the department was there. He spoke an incredibly small amount of English (ironic, huh?). He sat at his desk (well, I assume it was his desk) with his pants pulled up to his knees smoking a cigarette and drinking something out of a thermos.
