Hi everyone,
I am interested in visiting Tibet , I also have a friend who will be in India on business and would maybe like to visit. What are the requirements for traveling there. What other tips can you provide?
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot

Hi Montana,
When we went to China we asked the travel agent attached to our small hotel for help and they organised travel documents for us as well as a "tour" for us. I tink the only time anyone asked to see our travel docs was when we booked our ticket from Xian to Lhasa and we never had return tickets so could have stayed as long as we liked. As it was my husband suffered from the altitude so we stayed one day less than intended.
This was in 2008 though so it might have changed.
