Pictures from around the Yangshuo area. Well it took all that time to get the pictures downloaded. Spending the week in Yanshuo and having a great time. It is quite the oasis with beautiful scenery (this was the scenery we expected along the Yangtse), great food, and a very nice place to stay with a balcony looking over the river. We will write more later.

This was a most beautiful light show of traditional folk music and performance performed on water with the limestone karst as a backdrop. It was amazing and stunningly beautiful!

The pictures are amazing and we are really enjoying hearing about your travels. Jason would like to know more about this so called "herbal medicine". The reason he asks this is because Ed looks way too happy sitting at the kids table eating his soup.

Food
Nice to see Ed eating food he recognizes. Pam was gagging over duck intestines, even if they are organic! Photos have a surreal quality, another world, that does not come thru on the Travel Channel. Of course there is a book here, a photo journal with narratives. The photos are high quality and tell a story without words. Keep shooting and posting! Pat
