Not a blog per se more a brief itinerary of my trip to Southern Africa earlier this year between dates 14th Feb and 18th March 2011. This bridge spans the gorge in front of the falls. It also carries the road between Zambia and zimbabwe.

Sign in the middle of the bridge. The bridge is also the setting for a spectacular bungee jump.

Two German girls from our tour group heading for their bungee jump. I was there when they signed up for this and I considered it myself BUT I know for a fact I would have backed out. I was scared just leaning over the side of the bridge to take the photo.

We were held up in traffic at a level crossing when this train came through with these two characters riding on the front.

Our makeshift river transportation down the Okavango river to our campsite, two canoes, an outboard motor and half a dozen dining chairs. Views of Angola on the opposite bank.

This is a typical breakfast or lunch setting laid out by the two guides on the tour. Dinner was always served around a fire at one of the campsites.
