A few observations in my recent trip to Rwanda and Nairobi: 1. You are supposed to have Yellow fever vaccination before entering these countries, but no one at immigration is bothered to check. 2. Hi, enjoy your blog. Did you rent a car and drive yourself. How did you find kenya? Did you feel threatened at all. We are planning three weeks in africa. Leaving in two weeks. thanks Keith

Keith, There is nothing to be threatened at all. I had not come across mugging or any such untowards incidents. However, the stay was short and might have been lucky also. But what I gather from fellow travelers or locals, it is much safe now for past few years. And I used cabs only. You are supposed to bargain and they know it.
