Hello All! We rode into Alta this afternoon. The weather finally broke and we've had several days of beautiful sunny warm weather. Wifi continues to be limited and that will probably continue as we get farther north. We'll probably spend a rest day here and then move on. Continuing to see reindeer wander on to the road and also harbor porpoises near fish farms. Hope all is well with everyone!!!

Re: Right Time, Right Place!
Hej George & Anna, Love the photos - lots of empty spaces. MDI is swarming with tourists this year, and I mean really bad... Looking forward to doing some traveling myself next summer! Safe riding and say hi to Harry Hole for me!

Re: Where are you now?
Hej George and Anna! Forgot to ask - did you celebrate midsommar last month? Have you tried any new foods? Looking forward to hearing your latest adventures. The new mechanic who took over for you quit on Friday, so once again we will be short-staffed in August. On the other hand the weather has been beautiful - sunny days in the 70's and nights in the 50's. Happy trails! Bob

Hi Bob
We did try a couple of things, but my blog post was so long I missed some things! I had a beer brewed at the Mack brewery in Tromso, the northern most brewery in Norway. We also tried reindeer and Arctic char. Both excellent. The beer was good but a little light for my taste. We've been in the arctic so temps haven't gone above 45F. We're almost in Finland now and the temperature has moved into the 50's! Good luck this next month, sounds like it's going to be tough!
