Bird's Eye View
What I saw on the London Eye. Mollie P. is the next featured blogger. She is 15, and in grade 10. Mollie lives at Paint Lake with her family. This trip was the first time she was ever out of Canada. Excuse the lateness of our posts. Our last 3 days became pretty wild and long once we got to London.
It all stated at birth, and 15 years later.. this is where I am. Just chilling in Europe, no big deal. Twas' pretty wild I'd say. Let me tell you about how it was crazy from start to finish.
Those planes got the best of us with the long flights and the lay-overs and hauling our luggage around everywhere. It was painfully exhausting because on top of that we were all horribly jet-lagged, and we had to get right on the road once we got off the plane. I had just started to get over my jet-lag right when we were about to leave Europe. Overall I think it was worth it doing those things because it's a part of the whole experience of travelling, even though losing your passport and not being able to cross the boarder isn't a really fun part of the
Time to go home...
Our group, including EF tour guide Lewis Irvine at Heathrow before heading back home. experience! *Mollie left her passport on the plane without realizing it and we were delayed and quite stressed in London, U. K. not knowing if Air Canada was going to find it. They did and we were admitted. It cost us 1.5 hour delay but we made out flight to Dublin, even if it was just barely!
Next up is probably my all time favourite part of my trip, the Giant's Causeway. It was genuinely the nicest place out of everywhere we went. Plus it was even cooler cause it was the first time I actually got to see the ocean up close. It was unbelievable how nice it was. The rocks looked they were placed there but they are naturally all just honeycomb looking things. We even saw a seal out on the coast.
Teachers are wild man. they were whispering and keeping a secret from us so we were wondering what was going down, what we doing? Turns out EF came through and hooked our group up with some tickets to go on the London Eye, and that was so crazy. We got a giant view of London and we could see everything.
We saw
Belfast
The Titanic Museum so many things on this trip and had a long 3 hour tour on a bus. So many cool things happened too. We saw a street performer who fit though a really tiny hoop and dislocated his arm. It was nasty. Also I bought a lot of fidget toys that spin in your hand and everyone was asking to use them and this kid Kenzie took them and he broke them all. Everyone else ended up getting them and I didn't feel original anymore.
The Titanic Museum in Belfast was super unreal and I didn't know I was ever gonna experience something so cool, mostly because I'm super into the Titanic and the ocean, and seeing all the old stuff from the Titanic. We also went on the ride in the museum and experienced what it felts like to be part of making the Titanic.
That last two days were the hardest days for everyone in our group, and all the other groups. It was so hard leaving people you got to know for 10 days and just having to walk away from them. It was difficult saying goodbye to Lewis, our tour guide, because we all got
Heaven?
The view above the clouds en route. to know him so well and we all talked to him so much. My overall experience with ef was amazing I'm so happy I chose to go on this trip.
