Yesterday we arrived in Barcelona with no where to stay. We were pretty lucky though. As we got off the bus in Placa Catalunya there were some ladies there saying¨ÁPARTMENTO¨. Kev had a chat to them and then we looked at some places. We ended up only 6 minutes walk to the main square in our own room in a little apartment with kitchen and stuff. It´s pretty cool.
Last night we had a walk down the main street, La Ramblas. There are heaps of street performers, artists drawing characatures, pet shops (with the weirdest animals like alligators, cameleons, snakes, turtles etc). After walking the whole street down to the port we ended up with 1/2 litre of sangria in a little side street restaurant.
Today was raining so we got on the Metro and headed too FCBarcelona home groud Camp Nou. We did a tour of the grounds and got to go to the change rooms, media box, on the ground, and through a museum of the club. It was something different to do on a rainy day.
Tonight after dinner we started our stroll back to the apartment and it started to rain. It was ok
until it was absolutely pouring and lightning and we ran through the streets soaked. All good fun though!
