The Daddy of all Lantern Festivals

Hi All,
I have seen the lanterns in Shanghai and other cities at Spring Festival but none of them can compare to the one here in Zigong.
The festival cost 40rmb for the lanterns that are set up in the park and an extra 30 rmb for a strange exhibition of balloon art and a refrigeration unit with ice sculptures inside.
The lanterns were extremely beautiful and the colours were just amazing. There was also a stage with performances of dancing, music and comedy. We had a great evening just strolling around although it was starting to get very busy when we decided to leave. The festival becomes more expensive and a lot busier the week of Spring Festival so.it probably wouldn't be the best time to come.
