Could we be tougher?!Could we be tougher?!Could we be tougher?!

Armed and dangerous
Hello again kids!!!!!

(there are outstanding photos to accompany this and the next few blogs...but the pc here doesn't want to play...so i might have to wait til i get to the uk to sort it out....i've got a day to spare there before........everybody say it with me now.....CONTIKI!!!)

Its your old uncle chopper here after a little hiatus........now where was i ?... ahh yes Battambang....

Let me quickly speed thru the parts where we had tea after the bamboo railway...walked around a bit......went back to our rooms...where poor old Chopper got a dose of the "welcome to Sth East Asia"s that he hasn't really shaken since......althought the first few days were the worst and saw me laid up in bed while the others saw some temples around Battamabang.....

'Chards talked me out of bed and into a taxi that was to take us to the capital Phnom Penh.....cost us $10 each....but far quicker and in much more comfort than a bus would of been, particularly given choppers delicate bowels.........

The first stop was just for Richards and myself and saw us take a delightful (read: shithouse) tuk tuk ride along and excellent (read: awful) road
Sharpshooters!!Sharpshooters!!Sharpshooters!!

On target!!!
to a gated compound where we were presented with a menu that read something like this:

AK47 - $30 - 25 rounds
Tommy gun - $30 - 25 rounds
Colt 45 - $13 - 7 rounds
etc etc etc
until it got to.....
Hand Grenade -$30
Rocket Launcher - $200

(Excited now aren't ya mum?!?!?)

We decided on the AK47, I went for the tommy gun (very old school...even the little khmer guy gave me a bit of..."say hello to my little friend"), the colt 45, and an M60 (sort of like an anti aircraft gun...."ÿou know Rambo?" as we were told)

learnt a valuable lesson here too.......the smallest of the guns had the biggest kick (did you hear that girls!!!) the colt 45 hand gun was pretty cool.....and i did particularly like the tommy gun...very Al Capone

Needless to say, best shot I've gotten away in ages!!!!! But inside the shed that you shoot it was about 400 degrees....

Nice to have a little fun, and luckily we did this today, as tomorrow probably would change our minds about it.............

rambo
i had to look twice to make sure that wasnt a scene from rambo kingy. It concerns me a little that glint in your eye and that look of pure glee. Ricko doesnt look quiet as comfortable with his weapon selection
