So much new development since Mum and I were over here 9 years ago and traffic has exploded. Ron and I went for a walk along the beautiful foreshore which looks very new and all around it are new housing developments. We decided to do a little tourist drive before going to Heather's for lunch. Started through Fremantle, it seems all of Fremantle comes out for Sunday Brekkie. Next was Cottesloe Beach, apparently there was "sculpture in the park" and the place was packed, couldn't get a park. So we headed off to King's Park, couldn't get a park, the rest of Perth was up there, we thought. Got out of there and headed through the city, guess what? More traffic. I think we did about 300meters in 10mins., finally got through there and headed for the Canning H/way. Stuck in traffic again, lady in car next to us assured me this was not normal. More traffic than Brisbane in peak hour. Finally got to Heather's about an hour late. However it was worth it, Heather is looking great and has an adorable little girl, Luella. A little Heather really. The weather over here has been lovely apart from the wind,
but at least it is not a cold wind.

Heather and Louella
Lovely photos and Louella reminds me of Heather at that age. Please say hi to her if you see them again. Meant to warn you not to go to Kings Park by way of the Kokoda trail, on foot that is!
