Didn't think I'd still be in Auckland today. But that's the truth of it.
I was checking in yesterday and was very politely told that my non-machine readable passport required a transit visa, just to stopover in LA and Miami.
And before you think I wasn't organised, I checked all visa requirements and none of this showed up!!
So now, flights been changed to the 2nd August. 4 days in which to stew!!!
Well, I'm heading to the US Consulate to get this visa on Monay so wish me luck.
My travel buddies are travelling safely though, and are set to arrive in San Jose today. Can't wait to join them
