Hi all

Early start to the day (5.30am) to head to the Floating Markets, yes more markets, I have now seen enough.... A little different view on the markets, but the same crap to buy. Hired a private car to get us there, let’s face it after staying at the Lebua, I now have a taste for luxury. The car took us to the 'Long Boats', where we toured through the canals for about 30 minutes. Arrived at the 'Floating Markets' to find...yes another 10,000 people. Nice concept but the same crap as every other market here in Bangkok. Best part of the day was the tour guide. Very friendly and informative. Gave us the full run down of Thai history and his view of the local politics, very similar to ours, very liberal and finds it hard to understand the muslims in the south? Sound similar...... Back to the hotel early in the afternoon, for of course the 'Lounge Bar' and a bit of quite time before heading out to dinner. We are going to try local, and if you see the local eating places you will know how adventures we are going to be......Hopefully be around tomorrow to fill you in.

No No No.. not brave at all. added this part of the blog two hours later, got as far as the muzo (mezzanine in the hotel) and had pizza. Not very brave after all, but now heading to the pool for more Singha. What a life.
