Tonight we had dinner at an Irish Pub, O'Lunneys, on 45th Street just off Broadway in Times Square. The food was great and again we were treated to fantastic service form our Irish waitress.

Following dinner we went and saw the musical Evita, starring Ricky Martin, at the Marquis Theatre part of the Marriott Hotel in Times Square. A very nice theatre but in all honesty the show was not my cup of tea, I could feel some nodding off going on particularly in the first half. Vicki certainly enjoyed the show so all was not lost.

After the show we had a hot chocolate and then rode the subway home. Right throughout this part of our trip I have been mindful of our safety because of the sheer size of New York how do you know who is around? In the city itself not only have we had no problems but we have found all New Yorkers extremely warm and friendly people who actually go out of their way to help. The NY Police Department are a great advert for the city. The officers are well presented and the ones we have spoke to have been a credit

And lights on. The NYPD are really friendly and are literally everywhere.
to the uniform and very friendly. They are very aware of their surroundings and on the job even though they may stopping for a chat to a couple of Aussies.

Tomorrow is a big day. In the morning we have some clothes that need washing but after that we are exploring Central Park. In the afternoon we are off to Hoboken to see Carlos Bakery, home of the Cake Boss. And while we are in New Jersey we are heading out for dinner tomorrow night with some people from work in Australia who are here on business visitng our World HQ in Parsippany, New Jersey.
